1. Introduction
Welcome to The World Tree. These Terms and Conditions apply to all users and clients of The World Tree and govern your access to and use of our services and website https://theworldtree.co.za. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms, in line with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.
2. Our Services
The World Tree offers one-on-one mentorship sessions for individuals and businesses seeking to grow and develop their personal brand or business ventures. All mentorship is delivered online or in-person (where applicable) by experienced mentors selected for their expertise.
Mentorship topics may include but are not limited to:
- Business development
- Marketing and branding strategies
- Professional growth
- Productivity, clarity, and planning
3. Contract-Based Mentorship Plans
Our mentorship services are structured around commitment-based plans:
a. 6-Month Plan
- Includes scheduled monthly mentorship sessions.
- Full payment or monthly payments are available.
b. 12-Month Plan
- For long-term business and personal development guidance.
- Full or monthly payment structures are available.
Early termination of any plan does not qualify for a refund, and any outstanding amounts remain payable unless agreed upon in writing.
4. No Refund Policy
Due to the time and expertise involved in our services, and the commitment-based nature of mentorship, we do not offer refunds on any mentorship sessions, whether individual or package-based.
This includes:
- Missed or late-cancelled sessions
- Partially used mentorship plans
- Early cancellation of 6-month or 12-month contracts
We encourage prospective clients to schedule an introductory consultation before committing to a plan.
5. Bookings and Cancellations
- All sessions must be booked via our official channels.
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- Missed sessions or late cancellations will be forfeited.
- Session rescheduling may be granted at our discretion.
6. Payment Terms
- Payment is accepted via EFT or any other method specified during booking.
- Monthly payment plans must be honored as per your contract.
- Non-payment may result in termination of services and legal action to recover outstanding fees.
7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Mentorship results vary per individual and depend on personal effort and market conditions. The World Tree makes no guarantees of specific business outcomes.
We are not liable for:
- Any direct or indirect financial loss
- Any decision made as a result of mentorship sessions
- Any delay or disruption outside our control
8. Intellectual Property
All materials shared during mentorship—including strategies, workbooks, tools, and session notes—are the intellectual property of The World Tree and may not be reproduced or distributed without written consent.
9. Privacy & POPIA Compliance
We are committed to the protection of your personal information and comply fully with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Please review our POPIA Compliance Notice and Privacy Policy for more information on how your data is collected, stored, and used.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with South African law and jurisdiction.
11. Amendments
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will take effect upon publication on our website.
